North Florida

Instructor of Social Work - Jacksonville, FL: This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position to begin August 2023. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate social work and social welfare courses in person on the UNF campus. In addition to teaching four courses each semester, instructors are expected to provide service to the university, department, and/or program as a part of their regular duties at UNF. This may include serving on committees, developing curriculum, or mentoring students.

SASW seeks candidates with experience teaching social work courses at the university level as well as direct social work practice experience. Minimum qualifications include a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program plus two years post-MSW direct practice experience. Preferred social work practice specialties include oncology, medical, military, veteran, or gerontology. Preferred candidates should be licensed to the equivalent of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. Candidates must have experience teaching university-level undergraduate or graduate social work courses.
