Greetings NASW-Broward Social Workers,
As we round out 2019 and enter into the new year (and new decade!), we at the NASW-Broward Steering Committee want to say thank you so much to all our speakers, volunteers, and our gracious leader, Hugo Rocchia, who led the unit this past year. Some may know already, in November, Broward Unit's leadership had a transition: Hugo stepped down as chair and in his place are new volunteers to lead the NASW-FL Broward Unit moving forward.
Since this has been a big transition for our new steering committee, we have formally decided to not have any event in December. We, the new steering committee, ask for your patience during this time as we adjust to our new roles and plans to come back strong in 2020!
Thank you everyone and happy holidays,
NASW-FL Broward Steering Committee
